Encaustic allows my ideas to flow. There is little control when the wax mixes with the heat.  Images become clear that were not planned. These images have their own story.

Encaustic on paper, hard surfaces, and bark, each make their own statements.

Shellac on encaustic, then lit with a match, creates a gift of movement.
